RedRocketResume is now Upword Resume.
The idea for RedRocketResume was born more than 15 years ago…at a family reunion! After working for years for resume writing companies that focused more on mass-producing resumes than on connecting with clients, I was looking for a way to provide a more elevated service.
Fortunately, I have a super-smart and supportive family. I floated the idea of creating my own business, and my siblings and parents were immediately on board.
“Of course you could start your own business!” they said. Their enthusiasm made me believe it might be true. Without their (unfounded) confidence, I might never have taken the plunge.
My brother started searching available domain names and within minutes, RedRocketResume was born. My mom came up with our tagline: aim higher.
In the years since, RedRocketResume has grown to a team of more than a dozen talented, dedicated writers. We have served clients from California to Dubai. We have written thousands of resumes for college students, Fortune 500 execs, startup founders, plumbers, and everyone in between.
Today, RedRocketResume is taking another step up.
We are now Upword Resume.
What stays the same: Our services, brand, people, processes, and most important, our drive to help you take your career onward and upward.
What changes: Just the name!
The name Upword Resume encompasses our passion for helping our clients rise to the next level. We are wordsmiths and writers, but the resumes we create are more than words.
